Nothing screams fall like a shearling lined denim jacket. It’s my absolute favorite piece to transition from warm to cold! The fur lining is really just the ultimate fall fabric, and honestly I’d be lost without this jacket. Not only does it keep me extra toasty, but it pairs well with many types of pieces! One of my personal favorite pieces to match it with is (unsurprisingly) a pair of Levi’s jeans! The mixing of denims is something I may never grow tired of. There’s endless ways to style denim on denim, but also it’s a classic and chic combo to use when you’re in a rut!
Also, I recently scored this In-N-Out burger tee shirt and I’m still swooning over it. I grabbed it not only because it’s super cute & soft, but it reminds me of my second home, California. It kind of depresses me because it makes me really miss everything about the place, but at the same time it makes me feel like I have a piece of Cali with me. I’m also trying to accessorize as much as possible this fall! I’ve recently found that it’s a chic way to add some more elements to my looks! This maroon croc skin handbag caught my eye at the thrift store because of the shape, but also because of the autumnal vibe it gives off! Have a great week and stay fab!

Recently I’ve tried to broaden my horizons in terms of fashion and try stuff that’s a little bit unconventional. I recently read an article about “dressing weird” in Vogue, and it really enlightened me! After reading the piece I tried to sit on the words I read and really apply them into my personal style. It touched on things like adding wacky accessories and mixing prints in order to add new elements to one’s personal style. I really resonated with the article because that is something I find myself attempting to apply in my own life. So thats where this outfit comes in, it’s a play on my own personal uniform. I absolutely adore a white tee and denim combo, and I’m currently adoring belts even more! The belt/corset trend is taking the world by storm and I am 100% on board! I love the cinched waist that it gives and the depth it can add to one’s body! Not only does it give the illusion of curves and definition, but it adds an element of enticement! I challenge my readers to try to be more fun and weird with your personal style once in awhile! Be fun and be yourself and it will always look A1! Have a great week and stay fab!
The pinstripe is one of the most cherished prints in my wardrobe. I love how they can make me feel taller and even more sophisticated at times. It’s a very versatile print, yet sometimes it can be difficult to find the perfect complimentary piece. For this look, the complimentary piece is the silver shoes obvi! They’re also the statement piece, but they really compliment the pants exceptionally. Something as little as tying a knot in a tee can make an outfit that much more interesting. I love how something that small can completely morph my perpesticve on a look. Have a great week and stay fab!
Ok but where the hell did September go??? It feels as if 2017 zipped by in a millisecond! Sometimes it blows my mind how fast time can fly! While it’s already October, things in Farmington are as bipolar as ever. In the day it’s hot and dry and at night it’s stormy and flooding! So at this point I’m just wearing whatever!
Can we take a moment to not just appreciate but oogle over this amazing vintage Nike mock neck top! I scored this gem at my town’s Salvation Army and I’ve been counting down the seconds until it’s cold enough to wear this! And it’s finally beginning to cool down enough! Not only do I love the design itself but the sleeves are slightly balloon-y which I’m sooo obsessed with! It’s going to be my go-to this Fall/Winter! So, onto the real star of this post, I ordered these Topman jeans about a week and a half ago and I received them the other day after tracking it’s every move. They were a steal for only $17, but not only that they’re such a modern, cool fit and style that I absolutely couldn’t resist! I’ve seen the white stitching on black denim style around lately, so I’m glad I finally hopped on the trend! I like to take pieces that are trending and mix them with an older more classic piece like the Nike top! I think it adds some great defining layers to an outfit! Have a great week and stay fab!!
Lately I’ve been really immersing myself in all things fashion in hopes of gaining some new tips and tricks to elevate outfits. I’ve been nonstop searching through fashion accounts, magazines, blogs, editorials, and even just through Tumblr and I have to say I’ve found quite a few great new ideas. One of those great ideas, was how to style a white button up 8 different ways from the amazing Aimee Song of Song Of Style! I absolutely loved how she took a simple piece like a white button up and completely manipulated it to her advantage and created 8 on point looks. The specific way I loved was tying it and pairing it with classic denim, so that’s exactly what I did! I chose a longer denim short than I usually would because I wanted this outfit to have a heavy 90’s vibe to it. There’s nothing I love more than the way that white & denim look when they’re paired together. Also, I’ve been trying to incorporate pieces in my wardrobe that I feel I don’t wear enough so that explains why I’m wearing my Converse for the first time in ages! Have a great week and stay fab!!!
You guys should know by now that I’m at my most comfortable when I’m in a tee and jeans. There’s just something about the combo that gives me a sense of security. When I’m in a rut and can’t find a good outfit, I automatically gravitate towards a tee and a good pair of denim. These particular jeans are the actual jeans of my dreams. I found them at a random yard sale and when I saw the size I was taken aback, but when I saw they were 501s I almost lost my shit. It is such a rare and beautiful thing to find a pair of 501s that are just your size. SO, the lesson for today is never pass up a yard sale no matter how weird it looks, and also to take a minute and just wear something simple and comfortable once in awhile! Have a great week and stay fab!
I recently started my classes at the community college in my town, and let me just say it’s no joke. While they’re just community college courses, they still contain a decent level of rigor. It’s a totally different and new environment compared to public school and it’s taking me a minute to adjust fully. I’m really enjoying the courses themselves so far so that’s a plus!
Don’t think for a second that just because I’m in college I’ll stop dressing extra everyday, because it’s not gonna happen (except for my 8am class, it’s just impossible to look decent that early anymore). All of my outfits were last minute decisions but I think they all came out A1. Have a great week and stay fab!
