Cali Diaries Day 2: Disneyland Day 1

For the second day of our trip we hit up my absolute favorite place on earth: DISNEYLAND! There is no place on the planet that I love more than Disneyland. I’m at my absolute happiest when I’m in the park. From the thrilling rides, to the cute and nostalgic movie themed rides, to the overwhelming amount of churros I consumed, there was absolutely not a single dull moment for me. For my outfit I wanted something very Californian but still comfortable and me. I cut my favorite Levis 501s because, why not? And threw on a cropped white tee and a flannel to give it a Californian side. And clearly no Californian fit would be complete without my vans! Have a great week and stay fab!

On Summer Time.

One of my favorite things about being a blogger is being able to experience and try new and exciting things. Recently I was contacted by the team at JORD Wood Watches to do a collaboration for Father’s Day. I immediately pounced on the opportunity to do my first business partnership, and I couldn’t be more excited. They discussed over email, figured out all the small details and BAM, it’s done! While I’ve never been much of a watch person, the second I put this watch on, I instantaneously took back that statement. It’s sleek, sophisticated, and such a great accessory to elevate any outfit. The design is simple and classic and obviously curated with care. The little details are all very intricate and mesmerizing to the eye.

I also want to say a big thank you to Maddy Lucas for taking these stunning pictures! This was our first time working together and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! I’m so grateful to live in a place that is chalk full of talented people like her! Have a great week and stay fab!

Denims & The Obvious White Tee

No outfit in my book is complete without a white tee! When I’m getting ready to walk out the door, I always do one last once over of my entire outfit, and most of the time I end up going back to my closet and taking off the top I’m wearing, and replace it with a white tee. It’s become kind of a routine/habit for me. When I wear a white tee, I feel cool and slick. Never have I worn a white tee and not felt super cool.

What better match to a great white tee, than a pair of great distressed jeans?? Nothing in this world goes better together than a white tee and jeans. Nothing. It’s the combo of all comboes! Before I left to shoot this outfit, I realized it needed something extra to take it that much further, and immediately realized it needed a denim wrap! Super happy with the way this outfit, location, and lighting turned out because it’s all perfect! Have a great spring break! And stay fab!!

Never Fear Navy and Black (is here)

I’m here to let everyone who has ever doubted an outfit, because it was navy and black, know that there’s no reason to doubt/fear it any longer! There are so many reasons why navy and black should be embraced instead of rejected! It’s easy, it’s classic, it’s chic, and there’s endless opportunities with the combo! I myself was once afraid of doing a navy and black ensemble, but only because I had heard so many bad things about it. After so long of avoiding the combo and never even giving it a chance, I caved and finally embraced it. It took me some getting used to, but I got over it and discovered that I actually love it!

This denim look top is one of my favorite blue pieces I own. It’s super comfy and has a cool and chill vibe to it. It’s basically been collecting dust in the back of my closest because I never knew what to wear it with, or when to wear it. Nonetheless, it pairs expertly with my black ripped denim and my oil spill slip ons! The contrast between my shoes and the top is everything I could ever ask for in an outfit! Have a great week and stay fab!!

Black Knit & White Cons

I’ve always had a soft spot for cozy knitwear! Especially black knitwear at that! This one from Target is extra soft and extra perfect because it was purchased half off on Black Friday so that’s a major plus! And it’s also super comfortable and easy to work with! The combo of black and classic denim will never get old to me. It’s such a simple and versatile combo that you can add different bold accessories or a great pair of shoes to.

I always have such fun shooting with my good friend Julia Beer! Our collaborations always result in some awesome pictures and a good time! I feel comfortable around her and she certainly helps by knowing what she’s doing with the camera! Have a great week and stay fab!

Trending: Black on Black

I’m a person who loves their all black. I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite outfit color combos ever! There’s something about the allure of all black that makes me so in love with it! The elegance and mystery of this wonderful monochromatic pairing is everything I need in a palette. So many celebs and bloggers have taken all black, and made it into a worldwide phenomenon! Everyone has their own take and own interpretation on all black and that’s why it’s such a beloved combo! Take a look at one of my personal favorite all black looks, and then some all black inspiration below that! Have a great THREE DAY WEEKEND! And stay fab!

Red & Black

I wore red around Christmas…go figure. I realize that I kind of made a cliche and obvious decision by wearing a red sweater around the time that literally everyone wears red. Whatever, because I like it and think it’s perfect. The sweater is actually extremely old and I think it was my dad’s at one point but I can’t be completely sure. Either way I love it and the way it makes me get fully into the holiday spirit. The fabric is very comfortable and while the fit is oversized, I think it really compliments my slim figure. Not only is red an amazing color to wear around the holidays, but it’s also an easy one to wear. Literally every clothing store around this time carries a vast amount of red pieces, making it extremely easy for someone to get a cute piece.

Shooting these images was quite a challenge if I’m being honest because it was so cold! I obviously don’t show it in the pictures, but I was dying from the freezing temperatures. Although it was cold, I still feel like the pictures came out perfect! The lighting, background and timing was all on point. Have a great week and an amazing Christmas Eve and CHRISTMAS! Stay fab! {I’ll be back on Saturday for the last post of 2015! DONT MISS IT!}
