What makes fashion so exciting is that it’s something anyone can put their own personal spin on. Everyone has their own personal sense of style, whether they’ve identified it or not. We as humans are entitled to have our own thoughts, feelings, and yes, personal style!
For me, something I like to play around with is mixing masculine and feminine pieces. Delicate textures like lace and red satin coincide with the edgier and more classic ones (like denim) to make a very fresh and modern look! This lace t shirt was an absolute godsend from ASOS!! It’s one of those pieces that you just know you’re going to be together forever. I feel the exact same way towards these 501s, they’re versatile, simple, yet one of the most classic and chic fashion statements of all time. Also, the circular shape of this gorgeous red satin bag I thrifted awhile back, brings a timeless yet modern feel to the look. I like adding a pop of a single color into an outfit because it gives it some more depth. Do not be afraid to take a risk when it comes to your outfits. Mixing masculine & feminine pieces is a full proof and easy way to make an outfit a little more interesting! Have a great week and stay fab!

I thought I’d quickly share some old photos of the sickest jumpsuit I got from Daya by Zendaya! It’s the absolute coolest design and I truly couldn’t resist especially because I got it on sale for $10!!!!! I mean how could you even dream of passing up an offer like that?!? I modernizes it by cinching the waist with a wide belt to add dimension to my body & the look and I also cut the long sleeves off not only because my arms are way too long, but because it makes it a even more casual! Have a great week and to all my college students HAPPY DEAD WEEK I know you’ll survive! Stay fab!
I’m such a sucker for a classic staple piece. I lose all control when I see a white tee, plain jeans, or even a plain blazer! When I first began to love fashion, I had no clue what I was doing, but I knew that starting with staple pieces was a good way to begin! So I rounded up some of the more classic/minimal pieces in my closet and now 4 years later here I am wearing the same stuff (but on a higher & better level)!
To me, the classics that will never go out of style are things like white tees, Vintage levis, a classic black & white sneaker, and even western belts! These are all such amazing pieces alone, but when paired together, it can be the most glorious of pairings possibly ever! However, I think that being fun and weird with fashion is a great thing, and that everyone should try being adventurous at times. That being said, sometimes I don’t have the energy, and a tee and jeans is all that I feel comfortable in and that’s %100 ok! So, these jeans were recently Thrifted and I am sooooo ecstatic over them! They are the perfect light wash, Vintage Levi 501 that I’ve been searching for for a very long time! I’ve wanted a pair just like these for so long, I just never had the money to afforded the amazing/high quality pairs that I want! So that’s why these are so amazing, they’re exactly what I’ve wanted, and I only paid $1 for them!!! I think these are a pair of jeans that everyone should own! They’re classic, comfortable, and SO CHIC I CANT EVEN! Thanks for reading my ramble, have a great week and stay fab!

Recently I’ve tried to broaden my horizons in terms of fashion and try stuff that’s a little bit unconventional. I recently read an article about “dressing weird” in Vogue, and it really enlightened me! After reading the piece I tried to sit on the words I read and really apply them into my personal style. It touched on things like adding wacky accessories and mixing prints in order to add new elements to one’s personal style. I really resonated with the article because that is something I find myself attempting to apply in my own life. So thats where this outfit comes in, it’s a play on my own personal uniform. I absolutely adore a white tee and denim combo, and I’m currently adoring belts even more! The belt/corset trend is taking the world by storm and I am 100% on board! I love the cinched waist that it gives and the depth it can add to one’s body! Not only does it give the illusion of curves and definition, but it adds an element of enticement! I challenge my readers to try to be more fun and weird with your personal style once in awhile! Be fun and be yourself and it will always look A1! Have a great week and stay fab!
Ok but where the hell did September go??? It feels as if 2017 zipped by in a millisecond! Sometimes it blows my mind how fast time can fly! While it’s already October, things in Farmington are as bipolar as ever. In the day it’s hot and dry and at night it’s stormy and flooding! So at this point I’m just wearing whatever!
Can we take a moment to not just appreciate but oogle over this amazing vintage Nike mock neck top! I scored this gem at my town’s Salvation Army and I’ve been counting down the seconds until it’s cold enough to wear this! And it’s finally beginning to cool down enough! Not only do I love the design itself but the sleeves are slightly balloon-y which I’m sooo obsessed with! It’s going to be my go-to this Fall/Winter! So, onto the real star of this post, I ordered these Topman jeans about a week and a half ago and I received them the other day after tracking it’s every move. They were a steal for only $17, but not only that they’re such a modern, cool fit and style that I absolutely couldn’t resist! I’ve seen the white stitching on black denim style around lately, so I’m glad I finally hopped on the trend! I like to take pieces that are trending and mix them with an older more classic piece like the Nike top! I think it adds some great defining layers to an outfit! Have a great week and stay fab!!
I try to create looks no matter where I’m going. I don’t care if I’m picking up one thing from the store for my mom or I’m going out for pizza, I’m. Gonna. Serve. This is one of those outfits where every piece has a purpose and the outfit wouldn’t be complete without any of them. I got these pants from H&M and I have to say, they weren’t really what I was hoping for/paid for. On the website they looked as if they were made of a silky almost satin-y fabric, but it turns out they’re just sweatpants that look like silk. Nevertheless, I waited awhile for them to arrive so I figured I might as well just get past it and wear them! PS: THEYRE ON SALE! Also, lately I haven’t been able to take this denim jacket off, it’s just my absolute favorite thing! Pair it with my Vans and a sexy cropped tee and you’ve got a classic “Marvin.” Have a great week and stay fab!
This was my first time at Knott’s Berry Farm and i was very pleased with how it turned out! I love crazy roller coasters and the ones here did not disappoint! Also, the chicken dinner I devoured while there was phenomenal!!! For my look I wanted something yet again very simple and comfortable, so I threw on some 560’s and a white tee and called it good. I added a belt and my maroon windbreaker to kind of take it up a notch, but overall I loved how simple and easy the outfit was! Also, this leather backpack that I thrifts was my lifeline in Cali because it is super cute but also very convenient and useful. Have a great weekend and stay fab!
