Cropped Grey & Black Denim.

Although it’s November, it’s somehow still plausible to wear a crop top out! I’ve found that crop tops are an ingenious way to take a simple outfit a little bit more over the edge. Crop tops are new and inventive and I’m infatuated with the looks they can create! I paired this DIY crop top with a great pair of black orange tabs that hug every last curve of the body! Levis are my favorite jeans not just because of their long and iconic legacy, but because they give the body of whoever wears them, a great definition and even sophistication! No matter what fit I’m wearing, I always feel my absolute best in a pair of Levi’s! I’m posting this because I will be too busy inhaling any food in my way to work post it later, so have a great thanksgiving to everyone! Stay fab!

All Black like Bella.

One of my biggest fashion inspirations is the transcendent Bella Hadid! She has hands down one of the most eclectic and chic senses of style I’ve ever witnessed. With every outfit and every red carpet, she further proves to the world that’s she one bad ass bitch! Not only is her wardrobe refined and diverse, she also brings a certain level of sex and class to every single outfit. I absolutely love the way she finds new ways to style things that wouldn’t generally work together! For instance she basically pioneered the grand return of vintage Dior saddle bags! The girl has an incomparable fashion sense, and on top of that she is one of the most beautiful people on the planet! I figured she’d be the best person to channel this Halloween because she is just so risky and chic and that’s what I look for in a costume! I threw together this look on the fly and I have to say it turned out perfect! This vintage Gap blazer and these lace look pants were both thrifted finds that I will forever cherish! The blazer instantly caught my eye because 1. It’s vintage Gap!!! and 2. It’s classic and chic! I also thought that by adding a chic little black handbag, it would really take the Hadid vibe over the edge! Throw on some classic cons, a cropped white tee, and an eccentric yet interesting pair of sunglasses and BAM you’ve got yourself a Hadid approved fit! Have a great week and stay fab!!

Blue Jeans.

A forever classic song by the transcendent Lana Del Rey, but also my absolute favorite thing to wear. I know I’m living my best life when I’m in denim. It’s just the most timeless piece and I’m just obsessed with playing with the shapes and washes etc. This top was such a score! The second I saw it I knew I was in love! It has a flannel-like material that almost resembles a sweater, but in tee shirt form! It’s a tad big on me but I would never dream of passing up anythimg vintage tommy!! Also, this jacket is a fave because it has a slightly cropped fit and it really just sits right on the body! All in all I OBSESSED! Have a great week and stay fab!!

The Carpenter Jean.

Ok but where the hell did September go??? It feels as if 2017 zipped by in a millisecond! Sometimes it blows my mind how fast time can fly! While it’s already October, things in Farmington are as bipolar as ever. In the day it’s hot and dry and at night it’s stormy and flooding! So at this point I’m just wearing whatever!

Can we take a moment to not just appreciate but oogle over this amazing vintage Nike mock neck top! I scored this gem at my town’s Salvation Army and I’ve been counting down the seconds until it’s cold enough to wear this! And it’s finally beginning to cool down enough! Not only do I love the design itself but the sleeves are slightly balloon-y which I’m sooo obsessed with! It’s going to be my go-to this Fall/Winter! So, onto the real star of this post, I ordered these Topman jeans about a week and a half ago and I received them the other day after tracking it’s every move. They were a steal for only $17, but not only that they’re such a modern, cool fit and style that I absolutely couldn’t resist! I’ve seen the white stitching on black denim style around lately, so I’m glad I finally hopped on the trend! I like to take pieces that are trending and mix them with an older more classic piece like the Nike top! I think it adds some great defining layers to an outfit! Have a great week and stay fab!!

Back to Silk.

Yes, it’s that silk shirt again! I honestly can’t help it sometimes, if a piece is really good I have to get a lot of use out of it! I believe that repeating pieces is nothing to be ashamed of, I think if you wear a piece once and never again after that, you’re not getting the full effect.

This particular shirt is one of my favorite pieces at the moment. It’s such a classic staple, but a little bit more elevated. I’d go as far to say that it’s the white button up I’ve been searching for my whole life! I love that in itself, it’s a statement piece that can be ever so versatile. Every time I wear these vintage Calvin Klein jeans I feel right at home. They’re soft, have a great fit, and hug me just right I’m all the right places! Incorporating soft pieces like a silk top with darker and edgier pieces like black ripped jeans or patent leather sneakers can really help elevate a simple outfit. Have a great week and stay fab!

A Silk Spell.

It seems I’ve been under some sort of spell lately, and it makes me only want to buy shirts that are silk? I don’t know if that’s logical but I’m gonna go with it because I love me some silk. This shirt is one of my favorites to date because it’s so simple yet chic. I love how well it pairs with my 501s so that’s a major plus! Have a great weekend and stay fab!

Usual Suspects.

You guys should know by now that I’m at my most comfortable when I’m in a tee and jeans. There’s just something about the combo that gives me a sense of security. When I’m in a rut and can’t find a good outfit, I automatically gravitate towards a tee and a good pair of denim. These particular jeans are the actual jeans of my dreams. I found them at a random yard sale and when I saw the size I was taken aback, but when I saw they were 501s I almost lost my shit. It is such a rare and beautiful thing to find a pair of 501s that are just your size. SO, the lesson for today is never pass up a yard sale no matter how weird it looks, and also to take a minute and just wear something simple and comfortable once in awhile! Have a great week and stay fab!
